I recently stayed at this hostel in Gdynia for a few nights and had a fantastic experience. The location was perfect for my needs, with everything I wanted to see and do just a short walk away. The best part was the keyless lock system, which made me feel free and worry-free about carrying keys. The service was excellent as well, with a friendly staff member providing me with an extra blanket that was a lifesaver.
Couldn't recommend this hotel more.

The twin/double room at Hostel City Center Gdynia was amazing! It had a private entrance which made us feel like we had our own little apartment. And the air conditioning was a lifesaver during the hot summer days. We loved how cozy and inviting the room felt with the bed linen provided. It was perfect for our family.
I'm not a fan of the feature where the room has a private entrance. It felt a bit secluded and I missed the buzz of being in a hotel.

This twin/double room at Hostel City Center Gdynia totally rocked my world! The private entrance made me feel like a VIP, and the air conditioning was a godsend during those hot summer days. The cozy bed linen added an extra touch of comfort too. As a relaxed and laid-back guest, I loved every moment of my stay in this room.
While everything was amazing, I personally wasn't a huge fan of the bed linen color. But hey, that's just my taste, and I'm sure many other guests would still find it great.

Close to popular attractions, beachfront. Kindly requested to call outside reception hours. Batory shopping center is a 5-min walk away. Ha, who needs staff always available?
Airport not close enough. I just love dragging my luggage for ages.

During my recent travel to Gdynia, I had the opportunity to stay at Hostel City Center. Although I only stayed there for transit purposes, I found two features of the database to be quite convenient. the location of the hostel was excellent. Situated a mere 15 minutes on foot from Gdynia Central, it provided easy access to transportation hubs, making it convenient for travelers like me. I appreciated the fact that the distance to Gdansk Lech Walesa Airport was only 30 km away. This made it convenient for catching my flight without having to worry about long and stressful journeys.
There was one minor issue during my stay at Hostel City Center that I would like to highlight. The showers in the bathrooms were not well-designed and had a tendency to splash water everywhere.

Great location. Communal toilets and showers, no queuing. Generally clean and in good condition. Cheap.

The location was mind-blowing, close to all the fun venues and just a short walk to the beach. The hostel was super clean and well maintained, with ample showers and toilets. The staff were jaw-droppingly helpful and always accessible by phone. Can't wait for my next trip!

I absolutely loved the convenient location of this hostel. It was just a short walk away from both the bustling downtown area and the main train station, making it incredibly easy to explore the city. the staff was friendly and always available by phone. the rooms were clean and comfortable, providing a cozy space to relax after a long day of exploring. the communal toilets and showers were a big plus, ensuring that there was never a long wait for bathroom facilities.
I did find the kitchen to be a bit small and not very comfortable for cooking.

the biggest advantage was definitely its location. Just a short 5, minute walk and we were at the beach, surrounded by numerous restaurants and shops on the main street. the shopping center was also within easy reach. the main train station was only a 10, minute walk away. We were able to buy breakfast vouchers at the reception desk, which we used at a nearby restaurant , definitely worth the money. the rooms were clean and the beds were comfortable. the shared toilets and showers were also clean and well, maintained. The shower cabins even had hangers and shelves, providing us with privacy and convenience. Cons: One small drawback of this hostel is that it may not be immediately obvious to find. 📍.

For the price we paid, the value was exceptional. The room was clean and comfortable, and the location couldn't have been better. The staff was friendly and easily reachable whenever we needed them.
Menu for breakfast could've been more varied.
